My Shoe Story

Few days ago, I remember my husband’s post about footwear and I am convinced that women do really have more pairs of shoes than men. Why is it so? Simply because we, women (most… if not some), are more fashion conscious. Our shoes must match with our clothes, belts and bags.
My husband is very particular on shoe brand and quality and he only trusts brands like Rockport, Bass, Nike, Adidas, Umbro, etc. Yep, these are worth thousands of pesos but he only buys them once in a blue moon. He says it’s worthy to buy shoes that’s 5k+ if it’ll last for 5 years. He claims he’s more practical (in my vocabulary it means "kuripot") than me. Yeah, yeah…
On the other hand, I am more particular with style and comfort. I’m not fond of closed and flat shoes (except for sneakers and trail shoes). I prefer shoes that have AT LEAST 3-inch heels because I’m vertically challenged and my husband is too tall for me.
I just arrived from the U.S. last July 10 and I got 3 new pairs of shoes. I now have more than a dozen pairs of shoes… 20 to be exact. That makes me a "shoe person" than a "bag person". I guess it runs in the family.
