Did you know that….
*87% of girls are more open to opportunities when they are happy with their hair
*Half of girls across the globe want to hide from the world when they are unhappy with their hair
*Feeling good about their hair “magically” transforms the way 76% of girls feel about themselves
I don’t know but I would do just about anything to get that much much coveted self confidence to face the world, and I can’t exactly claim that my self confidence comes from just my hair that I’ve been really really taking care of, but I can say that it is one factor for me being happy with myself . I mean, wouldn’t it be nice if someone told you you had great hair?

Mineral makeup is here to stay. Mineral makeup is no craze. I bet my life on it!
Henri Calayag, master stylist of the stars, and beautiful Ruby Gan ( of Myth, and Schu ), have collaborated to come up with mineral makeup that would do wonders on your skin, called Mineral Wonders.
With my initial review about it, I concluded ( as of now ) that this mineral makeup feels light, glides on smoothly and sheerly, and is perfect for everyday use. It also reminds me of college-makeup - bare skin, with a touch of loose powder, and tint.
Reviews anyone? I’d love to hear from you!
For college students, you’re in for a treat.
CLEAR gets you to :

2. Watch MOONY, live ( love her songs! )
3. and play around the college-fair setting for a post-Valentine’s event.

It’s been months since I’ve first tried L’Oreal Elseve hair products and I must admit that I’ve been raving about them nonstop. I’ve started with trying the Color Vive , their variant for coloured hair that has sun protection, to trying the Anti-Breakage Line , and lastly, their Smooth Intense line for dry and frizzy hair.
As others might know me, I have been an avid fan of Kerastase ( my one and only favorite hair care brand in the whole wide world, if there weren’t any budget constraints tied with on my belt? haha! ), and I have been hearing raves about the L’Oreal Elseve Hair Care Line that it is comparable to Kerastase. One thing I know is that - L’Oreal Professionel products don’t come close to Kertastase from experience, so I was a little bit skeptic that a consumer line , that is 3x priced lower than Kerastase can do so much.
I’ve reviewed some of the L’Oreal Elseve products for our fellow kikay’s reading, Read the rest of this entry »
Clean and Clearhas been my favorite blotting paper brand as of late. Aside from being able to blot away my skin’s oiliness twice a day, it doesn’t remove the makeup that I have on. I was able to try a variant that was sold in the US called “Morning Burst” that smelled quite delightful and cheerful, not too overpowering, so imagine to my absolute glee when I saw this on TV,

In grapefruit.Grape.Fruit.

UVwash’s secret (or not so secret anymore) ingredient is Aquea SPF imported from the United States. According to Aquea Scientific, the company who manufactured Aquea SPF, this ingredient “enhances ordinary liquid soap or shampoo with both UVA and UVB protection.” Moreover, “Aquea SPF leaves the user with a virtually undetectable shield, as it lacks the greasy film commonly associated with sunscreen.”
I got curious about this when my friend Crissy tipped me on this product - UVwash. It’s supposed to be a facial wash that does not only cleanse your skin, but also preps you for the day by giving you the much-needed SPF, just by washing your face! Talk about convenience!
I know, it’s such an effort to wake up in the morning , take a shower, wash your face, then do your usual skin care regimen of cleanse, tone, moisturize ( lucky, if it has SPF ), then apply makeup. With this facial wash, it promises to skip a step for you, as you are ensured a whole day’s worth of skin protection. Say goodbye to sun damage, potential freckles, and wrinkles in the long run. No need to hide from the sun anymore! Yay!
Well, has anyone tried this? I’d love to hear some feedbacks. I know for a fact that it’s very hypoallergenic as it is affiliated with a renowned skin care company in the country!

You never know when you’d get struck by the seduction of black,
The temptation of black.
I have no idea why CLEAR commercials have been my most awaited commercials everytime. I mean, the Rain commercial made a huge impact ( by reading the forums, everyone seemed to be smitten with Rain by now ), and now, they’re selling a very, very bold idea - Black Valentines.
The commercial starts with lovely ladies walking on the streets, as one gets hit by a black cupid’s arrow, as their crimson red attires turn into black. Then, a dashing guy’s car gets hit, too, as well as him. Then, they come together, all in black, with all their shiny, and beautiful hair, moving closer to each other. The scene ends with Piolo Pascual ( sigh, I love you Piolo!!!! ) being revealed as the black cupid.

A shampoo with glycerin and virgin coconut oil making it gentle on hair and scalp. Enriched with tea tree extract to fight against dandruff, and peppermint to relieve scalp itching. Leaves your hair and scalp clean, healthy and refreshed.
From my previous post I promised a review of my latest purchase from my friend Emily’s company, Nutrizen. Knowing me, I was sold the moment I saw the word “Peppermint” on the label because I love, love, love minty shampoos. Even if almost every minty shampoo I’ve tried dries my hair and makes me so sad, I still haven’t given up. I feel that there will be a Holy Grail minty-shampoo for me in due time. *wink*

Remember The Natural Source?
I remember tinkering around their stuff last December 26, 2007 at the Fort , at roughly 10 in the evening. Teehee. Too much shopping even when the sun goes down!
I remember wanting to get their gift sets because they were very, very affordable and they were “big” products ( not just mini-sizes. )
Well, thank you A for dragging me out of TNS because they now have a sale! Check it out!
Don’t miss this sale! Start the year right with natural products! *wink*
