Smoky Eye Essentials : Eyeliner

After applying eyeshadows ( or before, for that matter, as some makeup artists do prefer that way ), comes lining the eyes. Lining the eyes is one of those miracle moments for me when my bare eyes actually become defined, become bigger, and the colors of my eyes pops out depending on the color!

I just want to say…eyeliners are kikay miracles!

I mean for those who watch Grey’s Anatomy – Callie Torres is always wearing eyeliner, and I almost could not recognize her when she is not wearing it. Love the power that her eyeliner gives. The vibe is soo…ferocious and strong! (more…)

Aww, I miss my dermatologist. As the second quarter of the year comes to an end and all the workloads seem to take in the form of an avalanche, all the more my time is squeezed, and keeping myself well-rested and beautiful seems to be a challenge. Heck, I even miss the darling stylist who does my hair. When my morning beauty ritual’s time’s cut into half, here are some of the routines I have adapted to make sure that I do not get late for work, and spend more time, IN work! ( rather than in front of the mirror )

Beauty & Minerals Day

As a strong advocate of mineral makeup, I’ve also ventured into reselling handpicked mineral makeup brands that I like alot – thus, Beauty & Minerals. I live, blog , and breathe mineral makeup, that is why I really really have fun doing this.

Last Saturday was one of my giddy days , for I was given the chance to do something I really like – doing makeovers on people! I like dolling people up, I don’t know, it’s a lifelong dream! Met my mineral makeup addict friends, got to do makeovers on newbies, and talked some more about fashion, which I admit, that I needed help on!

MAC C-Shock Collection

Audacious.bold.a higher level. This is what MAC’s latest C-Shock Collection is all about. This collection is surely not for the faint hearted, because it is what it claims it is – shocking! ( pun intended! )

Take a look at the colors – bright shades of yellow, blue, and green. Gasp. Blue lipstick? My kikay self is willing to venture into the bright eye colors, for they may look really good when worn, but blue lipstick, well, I’m afraid my heart is still not up for it. Just a thought, what if someone popular really manages to pull of this blue shade of lipstick and blue becomes an acceptable lip color in a few years’ time? (more…)
