My old 577 is 25 x 28, and I still wear it during (feeling *wink*) skinny days! With Levi’s, I felt like I found my perfect match that everytime I shop for jeans, my first stop is to check what’s new at Levi’s store.

This holiday, I was touched to see one of my faves became charitable and honour World Vision Foundation Inc. Phils. World Vision is a Christian relief, development and advocacy organisation dedicated to working with children, families and communities to overcome poverty and injustice.
So, before this day ends, I will try my best to look for my old oversized jeans (err, not my 577) and reward myself with a brand new 501 Boyfriend cut at Php500 off!

Yes, that’s how we do things, right Sisses? We REWARD ourselves. Consider yourself healed after this shopping experience. *double wink*

Last Friday marked the launch of MAC Cosmetics’ latest collection, the Fafi Collection.

Fafi is a French artist who conjures up the most curvaceous cuties –
chick-a-boom characters that make us smile. A Fafi girl is a nymphette with
a Ph.D. in passion – she’s an adventuress with a very animated love life!

From Toulouse to Tokyo, the movie of her life is a rags-to-riches love
story, an electric Technicolor dream in violet, coral and strawbaby anime.

Find her pouting on compacts, preening on packaging, and as the cutest doll
we’ve ever seen – soon to be on every M·A·C lover’s vanity.

Phoebe, Bambi, Liee, and I checked out MAC Cosmetics in Glorietta right after The Body Shop – Lipton Milk Tea Feel Good event to check out in the flesh the fabulous Fafi items. The colors were bright, even considered bold, and were more on pinks. Here’s the entire collection,

I also happen to love the packaging of each product, and the artwork! Muy French and artsy. So if you’re a MAC lover, you might want to go to the nearest MAC counter to check out this babies and get yourself a limited edition item like me ( a lipglass heehee ) , or even a limited edition doll ( which Phoebe did get herself ). I don’t know but I would do just about anything to get that much much coveted self confidence to face the world, and I can’t exactly claim that my self confidence comes from just my hair that I’ve been really really taking care of, but I can say that it is one factor for me being happy with myself . I mean, wouldn’t it be nice if someone told you you had great hair?

Sunsilk’s Life Can’t Wait Campaign further encourages women to go, believe and make things happen in their lives today by acting upon their wishes, and dreams. Well, I say, ditto! They also have Madonna, Shakira, and Marilyn Monroe to support the global campaign, and for the local campaign, they have Marian Rivera, Maja Salvador , and Heart Evangelista. Each of the success stories of these women serve as inspiration for us to make things happen in our lives- we could do it, only if we wanted to, and act upon our desires. And I truly believe that!

You never know when you’d get struck by the seduction of black,
The temptation of black.

I have no idea why CLEAR commercials have been my most awaited commercials everytime. I mean, the Rain commercial made a huge impact ( by reading the forums, everyone seemed to be smitten with Rain by now ), and now, they’re selling a very, very bold idea – Black Valentines.

The commercial starts with lovely ladies walking on the streets, as one gets hit by a black cupid’s arrow, as their crimson red attires turn into black. Then, a dashing guy’s car gets hit, too, as well as him. Then, they come together, all in black, with all their shiny, and beautiful hair, moving closer to each other. The scene ends with Piolo Pascual ( sigh, I love you Piolo!!!! ) being revealed as the black cupid.

To tell you a secret, I remember a very strange memory of me making a statement during Valentines day way back during my college years – I wore black. During Valentines Day, it was a cheerful custom to wear red, as it adds to the lovely air of the day. I didn’t feel like wearing red, and I was in a rebellious streak, so I wore black, to the surprise of my friends. They asked me why I wore black. I jokingly told them, “but I’m mourning. Nothing to celebrate about.”, but then I simply wanted to wear black because black IS my favorite color. I look good in it, and looking good in black is actually very demanding in such a way that your hair needs to be flake-free all the time, and I think that’s the message that CLEAR is delivering to its market.

Who’s with me into wearing black this Valentines? I think I can well expect more people to do so given this new challenge given to us by CLEAR. Let’s all be bold, be black, and move closer anytime!

I just wished Piolo would have gotten more airtime. Would have been lovely to see him seduce women in action. Teehee.
