Instant Fix!

Dear Sisses,

Everyone must have heard right now that mineral makeups are all the rage. Beauty aficionados out there have been talking about these for a couple or so more years ago already.

Yours truly just tried this thing on some weeks ago. Just so you know; I have a very sensitive/problematic skin. I get breakouts from time to time due to my irregular period, too much stress and irregular sleeping habits. Visiting my dermatologist once/twice a month is a total hassle to me and to my pocket.

So, to cover the blemishes here and there, I’ve been using this cream-to-powder foundation from The Body Shop for some decent years already. The Flawless Skin Protecting Foundation 05 did a very good job, giving me a very natural looking finish. The weather have become unpredictable these days, and so with my skin! My T-zone gets too oily easily and I assure you, a total discomfort on me.

Lo and behold, I decided to try out this mineral powder foundation. Somehow perfect for my sensitive skin because it’s made from milled naturally occurring earth minerals. My friends recommended L’Oreal True Match, and since reviews are quite OK, I bought one for myself, the G5 (Golden Sand) shade for my La Pinay complexion.

So far, I am happy with the coverage and it’s so easy to apply. Simply dab up, down, left and right; run the brush in a circular motion and viola! Ready to go!

wow! Its seems nice, sis. Flawless! I am actually out of foundation right now and I’m wondering what to buy. Remember, sabay tau bumili ng liquid foundation sa faceshop? Yup, ubos na sya. ok sya sa akin kaso masyado lang makalat sa face pag nagpunas ako ng panyo or tissue. is ok to use powder or liquid foundation? what do you think?

    Hi Red,

Why don’t you try creamy yet powdery foundation that works well with all skin tones? The liquid ones might be too heavy for you.

    Thanks,
    Geraldine
