L’Oreal Elseve Hair Products Are Love!

leave a response

It’s been months since I’ve first tried L’Oreal Elseve hair products and I must admit that I’ve been raving about them nonstop. I’ve started with trying the Color Vive , their variant for coloured hair that has sun protection, to trying the Anti-Breakage Line , and lastly, their Smooth Intense line for dry and frizzy hair.

As others might know me, I have been an avid fan of Kerastase ( my one and only favorite hair care brand in the whole wide world, if there weren’t any budget constraints tied with on my belt? haha! ), and I have been hearing raves about the L’Oreal Elseve Hair Care Line that it is comparable to Kerastase. One thing I know is that - L’Oreal Professionel products don’t come close to Kertastase from experience, so I was a little bit skeptic that a consumer line , that is 3x priced lower than Kerastase can do so much.

I’ve reviewed some of the L’Oreal Elseve products for our fellow kikay’s reading,
Elseve Color Vive Color Protecting Conditioner
Elseve Smooth Intense Hair Masque

Bottomline? I think L’Oreal Elseve hair products don’t really perform just like Kerastase, but they perform pretty well that leaves me impressed. For the price, it already exceeds my expectations and it is a joy to have Elseve products around for everyday use! They are the closest things, really. Two products that I would strongly recommend is the Smooth Intense Hair Masque and the Smooth Intense Serum. The Smooth Intense Hair Masque is perfect for smoothing frizzy hair and keeping frizzies at bay ( I’d recommend to use it everyday as a conditioner, haha! ), and the Smooth Intense Serum is a miracle product that saved my life several times as it made my hair really sleek, manageable, and silky.

My fellow kikays, have you tried Elseve? How did it fare to you? I’d love to know!

I love the smooth intense serum. I just had my hair rebonded and it gives my hair that ‘just stepped out of the salon’ look. And its wayyy cheaper than Kerastase.

i love the Elseve Smooth Intense line as well, though I haven’t tried using the Hair Masque ( but after reading you post, I must use it as well!) Im using the shampoo, conditioner and serum and it is such a miracle! promise! Plus, the smell is so fresh, especially the serum…I swear, this is the only hair care line that exceeds my expectations! Not like any other imported brands that just leaves your hair more frizzy, dry and dull…. Elseve’s the best! Must use it!!!

the serum smells like watermelons!
it fits my budget too!
but just wondering…..
isn’t l’oreal the mother company of kerastase?

Didn’t work on my hair, maybe because my hair is really damaged..hahaha..my hair is hopeless!

I’ve used the smooth-intense conditioner and masque and both worked well on my hair. Now, I’m thinking of buying a different variant for my hair that’s just been 2-week relaxed done by a well-known salon. They advised me to buy Keratase oleo-relax as a maintanance. It’s a product of Loreal also but it’s much more expensive..

L’Oreal Elseve does what it has written on the bottle/tub. Works excellently for me! Smooth, frizz free, not dry, and no dandruff. Never going back to other shampoos and conditioners. It may be a little steep on the budget but it sure is a great buy!
