Bizzie Lizzie Nail Salon and Day Spa
| July 31st, 2007 | Nail Love
My best friend J isn’t crazy about having her nails done in a salon – she gets irritated with the sound of the blower, and isn’t okay with the business of the place, with people running around, and all. My best friend J is one of the people who influenced me to the world of nail pampering, and boy is she just critical and “maselan”. Her idea of nail pampering is a quiet, cozy place, with La-Z boy chairs, and first class service.
And she found it in Bizzie Lizzie.
Bizzie Lizzie is a full service and one-stop nail spa salon situated in Annapolis, Greenhills. Their services include nail art, the usual manicure-pedicure, body massages, waxing, reflexology, and UV nails – a great alternative to acrylic nails, which is described as,
Our alternative to acrylic nails. Longer, stronger and healthier. A salon quality nail bonding system, beautifies your nails without silk wraps or acrylic cover-ups, which can smother and weaken your natural nails. A living polymer gel, high gloss, and are gas permeable that do not seal off the natural nail. Nail beds can respire normally to help maintain natural, healthy-looking fingernails. Gels are cured under UV lamp
For those who are interested to have UV nails done, Bizzie Lizzie charges 150 pesos per nail, and removing it would cost you 500 pesos.
Well, one lazy Sunday afternoon, I was at J’s house for some girl bonding. She suggested that I go with her for her routine nail pampering at Bizzie Lizzie, and promised that I’d love it. As we arrived the place, it was quiet, and cozy indeed, and as we chose our treatments, I was choosing between a Bizzie or a Lizzie treatment. Bizzie is somewhat a basic manicure/pedicure, while Lizzie has some luxury add-ons like a 15 minute hand massage for a Lizzie Manicure, and a 15 minute massage and scrub for a Lizzie pedicure.
For the price, it’s 150 for a Bizzie Manicure, 300 for a Lizzie Manicure, 200 for a Bizzie Pedicure, and 350 for a Lizzie Pedicure. We chose a Bizzie-Bizzie combo given our time constraints, and we were escorted to the Common Room.

The Common Room is a dim-lit room full of La-Z boy like chairs, with a flat screen TV just in case you like watching TV while your treatment is being done. As we sat comfortably on the cushioned chairs, the nail care procedures began. The nail technicians were very nice and very attentive to our needs, and we were also offered a refreshing glass of iced tea. In this really calming ambience, I felt all relaxed and sleepy, that I think at some point, I drifted to sleep.
For the service itself, the nail techs were very competent and did my nails well. They have Sally Hansen nail polishes there, which is of course, great!
Overall, for the price I paid, it sure was worth every penny. There are more affordable services out there, but the relaxation that spoiled me here was just worth the extra cashout! Too bad, that I live so far from Greenhills, that I couldn’t be there always. For those living in San Juan, Greenhills, or Ortigas, then you’re quite lucky, and be sure to check this place out!
