Let me introduce to you my Holy Grail skin care brand - Nu Skin. I’ve started using Nu Skin since college, and the addiction never ends with this brand as they don’t stop with their intensive research and development to come up with new products!

What I like about Nu Skin is that their products are water-based and don’t harm the skin a bit unlike alcohol-based or oil-based products that wreak havoc on the skin, thus, their slogan, “All of the Good, None of the Bad.” At first use, if one is accustomed to oil-based products, skin gets an initial purging, as it draws out all the dirt out the skin, but after, skin gets better as it absorbs and experiences the benefits of Nu Skin.

I’m also quite impressed that they have PDF copies of their clinical studies of some of their products, that help me understand how each product works. For me, literature about beauty products are like Harry Potter books! Haha! I just love it that they take advantage of technology to put it into good use - to produce advance , cutting edge beauty and health products that would benefit us all!

Nu Skin is an American skin care brand sold by distributors in the Philippines. I’m quite lucky that I have my friend Lorraine who answers my demanding scientific questions about skin care and health. I could just text or call to have my products delivered on my doorstep, and charge my credit card for my purchases.

My favorite products would have to be the Epoch Glacial Marine Mud which is perfect for oily and blemish-prone skin, the Revealing Gel, infused with polyhydroxy acids that micropeels the skin during bedtime and keeps skin looking fresh and young, and the Polishing Peel that is the most fuss-free and effective D-I-Y microdermabrasion in a tube! My mom’s using the 180 anti-aging system, and results have been great! My family has been drinking G3, the wonderjuice that is jampacked with antioxidants, too.
